11 May 2010
Tel Aviv, Israel – May 3, 2010 – Top Image Systems, Ltd. (Nasdaq: TISA; TASE: TISA), the leading innovator of intelligent document recognition, announced today that it was selected by Generali Group Austria to index and classify 60 million documents received annually. Following an in-depth evaluation, TIS' eFLOW was chosen to replace an existing solution.
Generali Group Austria will use eFLOW to capture and extract data from incoming documents received by mail, fax and electronic means, as well as process internal documents. The resulting data and images will be exported into a workflow application and distributed to the relevant location based on pre defined criteria.
As a result, Generali Group Austria will attain increased efficiency and lower operational costs, while controlling the information flow and accelerating business processes.
Generali Group Austria, with its complex organizational structure and extensive volume of incoming mail, chose TIS for its service orientation and proven experience with large companies. eFLOW solution's comprehensive functionality and flexibility, ease of customization and scalability, highly supports Generali Group's procedures and requirements.
Dimiter Kurtev, Group Leader Document Management at Generali Group Austria said: "Generali Group Austria's selection of Top Image Systems perfectly supports our strategy to continuously improve processing speed and better serve our customers and partners. We see eFLOW application as a crucial tool to increase efficiency and effectiveness of our business processes in the next few years."
"We are very pleased to have been selected by Generali Group Austria. Our experience with paper-intensive firms, such as insurance companies, allows our customers to better deliver operational efficiency and ROI at every level of their organization, while improving customer service and maintaining competitive advantage." said Michael Schrader, Managing Director EMEA at Top Image Systems. "This win, together with other recent wins, further strengthens our presence in the region."
